1 – Easter Egg Hunts

Santaquin volunteers hid nearly 6k eggs for the 2021 Egg Hunt for the children and toddlers.

Even more stirring, the city started a “Teen Flash Light Hunt” last year and plan on repeating the event in 2022.

In this evening easter egg hunt, teens were challenged to find eggs in the dark. Adding to the high energy atmosphere were glowsticks and popular music from large speakers.

2 – Pickleball

Pickleball has taken Utah County by storm in the last few years, and Santaquin City is no different. The City is in the process of adding pickleball courts to Harvest View Sports Complex.

Construction should be completed Summer 2022!

3 – Frisbee Golf and Park Improvements

At the Theodore Ahlin Park, on Pole Canyon Road, the city has recently installed an obstacle-course playground and a frisbee golf course. The park also has a pond for fishing.

The city is in the process of upgrading the park to have shaders on the playground, benches, garbage cans, and a fence.

4 – Murals and Art

Registration for a mural class will soon open, taught by Kyle Vincent. The class will focus on preparing the participants to paint a full size mural on the side of a local business.
