Santaquin has recently experienced a boom in residential developments. In The Santaquin Review’s last edition, we explored many large developments (+5 units) that started, or had phases that began within the last 6 months.

The following are developments that began, or had phases that began between August 2021 and January 2018:

(They’re mostly in chronological order of when they were approved.)

  • Orchard Hills — 17-unit subdivision at about 120 E and 610 S.
  • Orchard Hills II — 19 unit townhome development at about 120 E and Highland Drive.
  • Falcon Ridge — 19 lot subdivision at about 495 S. 300 E.
  • Cottonwood Subdivision — 8 lots at about 300 N and 350 W
  • Foothill Village — 535 lots located South of 900 S and West of South 100 W.
  • Heelis Farms — 20 townhomes at about 200 N and 400 E.
  • McMullin Subdivision — 16 lots at about 150 N and Peach Street.
  • The Orchards East Subdivision — about 265 units at about Center Street and Ginger Gold Road.
  • Johnson’s Grove — 23 Multifamily development located at about 498 W. Main Street.
  • Apple Grove Apartments — 3 Building, 36 apartments at about 1010 S and 120 E.
  • Evergreen Pointe — 30 unit multifamily subdivision at about 300 W and 100 N.
  • High Park North — 13 Townhomes at about 300 W and Main St.
  • High Park South — 18 Townhomes as about 400 W and Main St.
  • Centennial Park Condominiums — 36 units at about 100 S and 300 W.
  • Apple Valley — 11 lots at about Center Street and 770 North
  • Dawe Condominiums — 5 units at about 50 S and 400 West.
  • Orchard Park Condominiums — 23 units at about 100 W and 400 S.

In total, that is 1,094 units. There were also dozens of other lots under the 5 lot minimum that were approved, but not mentioned or counted.

There were also many tabled projects that never came back to the DRC. Many projects that were tabled years ago have yet to be seen again.
